Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan :
– Analyze project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine MEP work scope.
– Identify, quantify, and price all labor, materials, and equipment needed for MEP systems.
– Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates using estimation software and Excel.
– Collaborate with project teams to develop and manage budgets and cost control strategies.
– Provide comprehensive cost breakdowns and reports for all MEP-related project components.
– Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
– Ensure estimates align with project timelines, scope, and financial goals.
Keahlian :
– The ability to analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents is crucial.
– MEP estimators need to understand the intricacies of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to accurately assess material and labor requirements.
– They utilize pricing databases and software tools to determine material costs and labor rates.
– Building Information Modeling (BIM) software is used to create 3D models of MEP systems, which can be used for estimating and coordination.
– MEP estimators need to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
– Accurately identifying and quantifying materials and labor requires a high level of attention to detail.
Kualifikasi :
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an MEP Estimator or in a similar role
